Donald H. Chamberlain, M.D.

Dr. Chamberlain is a board certified gynecologic oncologist. He received his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the David Grant United States Air Force Medical Center in California and his gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In addition to holding board certification in Gynecologic Oncology, Chamberlain is a diplomat of the Amercan Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists and the Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists.

Chamberlain is an associate professor at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine.

Patricia A. Springer, NP-C

Ms. Springer is a board certified nurse practitioner. She received an Associate of Science in nursing from DeKalb Junior College and a Master of Science in nursing with a specialty as family nurse practitioner from Emory University.

In addition to her women’s health and oncology experience, she has practiced in family medicine, medical research, and acute care.

Springer is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing. She is also a member of Chattanooga Area Nurses in Advanced Practice.

V. Colleen Ford-Canion, RN, CRC

Ms. Ford-Canion is the director of clinical trials at Chattanooga Gyn-Oncology. She graduated with her RN from the Erlanger School of Nursing.

Ford-Canion has a background in intensive and cardiovascular care and has been actively conducting clinical trials since 2000. Her research in women's health ranges from female cancers to endometriosis, with a particular emphasis on ovarian cancer.

Ms. Ford-Canion is a member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals and the Chattanooga chapter of the National Black Nurses Association.
