Robotic Surgery
Dr. Chamberlain gave a lecture to the Taiwan Association of Minimally Invasive Gynecology at Mackay Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, September 29 and 30.
In addition to presenting his more than 300 case experience, Dr. Chamberlain performed a live case demonstration, a radical hysterectomy on a cervical cancer patient, with an interactive discussion during the surgery.
TAMIG president, Wu-Chou Lin, M.D., said he was very excited to have such an internationally recognized expert in robotic surgery present to this year's TAMIG.

Presidential Demonstration
Dr. Chamberlain demonstrated the da Vinci surgical system to President George W Bush during the president's visit to Chattanooga February 21.
President Bush tried the robotic surgery system and, afterward, joked, "There wasn't anybody on the other end of the machine, you'll be thankful to know."
President Bush made the visit to Chattanooga to discuss affordable health care and hold an informal health care forum.
